Club Ai KISU is a one-of-a-kind nightclub in Mauritius, a unique playground for the extravagant, designed for affable debauchery and indulgent fun, without pretentiousness but exuding an abundance of class and style.

Accommodation:
Each of the 166 suites, residences and villas is a labour of love of interior designer Kelly Hoppen, and made to look like an architect or interior designer’s holiday home. Settle in, relax, sunbathe, host some friends for a day party in your penthouse, take a dip in your villa pool, or just do nothing— make yourself at home. There are 86 suites with walk-in Chromotherapy showers and stand-alone bathtubs, 20 pool residences, 2 325m2 LUX pool penthouses and 8 spectacular villas perfect for families.

Location:
Grand-Baie is a village in northern Mauritius, an island state found in the Indian Ocean. The village of Grand-Baie itself has restaurants and lively bars and vendors at the Grand Baie Bazaar sell handicrafts.

Getting there:
The hotel is around 70km north of Mauritius airport, the journey lasts just over an hour and the hotel are able to provide transfers if requested prior to arrival.

What to pack:
As relaxing as a holiday may be, they ask that you wear a cover-up over swimwear at the daytime restaurants. In the evening, an island chic wardrobe is a must.

Restaurants:
Beach Rouge provides a clever mix of beach club and restaurant where you’ll feel transported to the bohemian-chic Ibiza, or the crystalline coastline of Mykonos.
Bisou bar and restaurant has tapas style mix of South American and European as well as gorgeous views from its rooftop location and its own infinity pool.
The gorgeous, contemporary café Maison LUX draws its soul from the typical cafés that line the streets of Milan and is also a perfect spot for after dinner cocktails.

Ai KISU offers contemporary Asian fusion cuisine with small dishes perfect for sharing, the open kitchen really adds to the impressive atmosphere, there’s even a soya sauce sommelier to ensure you have the perfect accompaniment to your plates.
The seven Cocoons are an exclusive private dining area next to the beach. You can dine in the great outdoors whilst taking in spectacular views of the blue lagoon in all privacy.

If after all this you’re still peckish for something sweet, head for freshly-churned gelato, ice cream, sorbet in unique flavors at ICI that are carefully sourced by their pastry chef. They work in small batches of creative flavours, which change not only daily but throughout the day and you’re welcome to come up with your own flavour!

Spa:
LUX* Me Spa is not your typical spa. They have channelled cutting-edge technology and ancient wisdom to create a spa ecosystem where you have the power to be and feel your best. There are 6 treatment rooms and 2 double spa suites with high-tech equipment (beds with tilting system for better spine alignment, sinus pressure comfort; specialized beds for Thai and acupressure therapies, a foot revive water path (DIY foot reflexology), Turkish hammam with heated pool, Laconium, aromatherapy steam and sauna plus much more to discover.
Fitness: 350m2 of rooftop devoted to outdoor workouts. A group cycling studio. Running tracks on the roof. “MyBeast”, a piece of equipment with 12 stations. A beautifully designed studio named Niyama. Fueled by ambition, they imagined a fitness zone built for the ultimate in high-performance and recovery.

Muscle up on the roof: The Indian Ocean’s first-ever full-fledged outdoor rooftop wellness experience, 350m2 of versatile training space with two 30m Olympic standard running tracks, and a MyBeast functional fitness, perfect for private or group fitness sessions.

    Studio 17: vintage arcade games, PS5 gaming stations, a DJ deck or the great outdoors, LUX* Grand Baie goes to extra lengths to keep 12–17-year-olds entertained. Mauritius knows two climates – summer and winter. Summer is from November to April and it can be considered as high season. Peak season in Mauritius is in December and January, these months are the hottest and most humid of the year and there is increased chance of cyclones during this time. In winter you will not have a lot of rainfall, because it is the dry season, however the temperatures stay below 30 degrees.
