Andermatt (1,440 metres above sea level) is a large village in the Urseren Valley embedded in 1.4 million square kilometres of natural Alpine landscape which is renowned far beyond the Swiss borders for its high peaks, deep gorges, cascading waterfalls and clear mountain lakes. In the summer, for example, you can enjoy the idyllic hiking trails; in winter, the reliable snowfall makes it the perfect location for active winter sport experiences. 

Getting there:
From Zurich Airport by car it’ll take around 90 minutes, by train around 2.5 hours or 15 minutes by helicopter.  You will find the hotel’s own parking spaces on site.

Warm clothes even in Summer are recommended since the Swiss Alps always have a fresh mountain breeze, restaurant dress code is smart casual.

The Restaurant: In ‘The Restaurant’ Chef de Cuisine, Armin Egli, will tempt you with dishes from four different, stylish open studio kitchens showcasing both Asian and European fare.
The Japanese: executive chef Dietmar Sawyere and his sushi masters tempt you with top-flight authentic Japanese dishes in this Michelin star restaurant. Additionally, located on Mount Gütsch 2300m above sea level, is The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt, a hotspot for hikers, skiers and gourmets, whom it invites to enjoy culinary highlights accompanied by views of Gotthard, the Oberalp pass and the Ursern Valley.

With a space of 2,400 sqm, an integral spa and health concept will impress you with their generous pool and sauna area, the Tibetan Relaxation Lounge as well as Far Eastern treatments customised to suit your personal needs.
There’s a 35-metre indoor pool as well as the 12-metre outdoor pool that gives you a fantastic view of the surrounding Alpine scenery. In The Health Club at The Chedi Andermatt you train at the highest level using the latest Technogym equipment. Personal trainers are available for individual coaching and to help you realise your personal fitness goals.
