The Best Room For You

  • Near the airport: Located just 15-minutes from Colombo International Airport
  • Quiet & relaxing: It might be near the airport but this is no airport hotel – the tropical grounds are spacious, tranquil and relaxing
  • Superb spa: A spa with flexible opening hours for indulgent pre- and post-flight treatments
  • Home grown produce: Delicious meals using produce plucked from their kitchen garden
  • Accommodation:
The eighteen bedrooms and suites gracefully blend the character of an 18th century manor house with bold contemporary additions. Super soft linen dresses four-poster beds positioned to gaze into the gardens, and little details such as vintage phones and bold prints infuse rooms with a retro-contemporary vibe. Relax in peace and privacy in one of the chicly styled Wallawwa Bedrooms or choose a more spacious Garden Suite for their large bathrooms and open terraces beside lush border-fringed lawns. Families can take advantage of the interconnecting bedrooms and suites, and the ultimate extravagance is the two-bedroom Mountbatten Suite with private plunge pool.
  • Location:
The Wallawwa is conveniently located just 15-minutes’ drive from Colombo International Airport yet its lush setting is extremely tranquil, tucked into a quiet corner of Negombo’s rural hinterland. It takes just 30-minutes to reach Colombo and beach-blessed Negombo, a Catholic settlement famous for its fishing trade, its expansive lake and network of old Dutch canals.

  • Spa:
The Z Spa has both single and double air-conditioned treatment rooms with open-air bathrooms, all of which radiate from a Zen-like central courtyard. The spa has no set opening hours; the therapists plan treatments to fit each guest’s schedule.
