The Nitty Gritty

  • Accommodation:
The resort is an all-villa resort, each with their own private infinity pools. Six Senses Zil Payson has 28 one-bedroom pool villas - choose between ‘Panorama’ for views and ‘Oceanfront’ for relaxing ocean sounds. For families there are two two-bedroom pool villas, which offer more seclusion among lush tropical vegetation. The three- and four-bedroom Residences are next level luxury, with inspired design, ultra-sleek finishes and vistas across the Indian Ocean.
  • Location:
Occupying less than a third of the total island, Six Senses Zil Payson is the sole resort on the private island of Félicité. Considered as one of the satellites of La Digue, the island is encircled by Grande Soeur, Petite Soeur, Coco and Marianne and offers the ultimate island-hopping experience.
  • Getting there:
The Zil Air helicopter journey to Félicité is approximately 30 nautical miles (55 kilometers) northeast of the Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on the country's main island of Mahé. The exhilarating 20-minute flight is over verdant islands, with arrival on the resort's own jetty helipad. Helicopter transfer is available up to a maximum charge of 325 kg (including 4 passengers maximum and luggage). The helicopter operates after sunrise and before sunset only. Alternatively, arrivals can be made by a short private boat trip from neighbouring Praslin or La Digue island. To reach Praslin Island there are domestic flights from Mahé airport to Praslin airport which can be booked through Air Seychelles or ferry services which can be booked though Cat Coco Ferries.
  • What to pack:
Dress code at the resort is smart casual - pack plenty of swimwear and shoes suitable for hiking up to the perfect sundowner spots.
  • Restaurants:
Seychellois cuisine reflects the cultures that have come to these shores over past centuries and you can find flavours from Africa, China, France, England and India at the resort. Drawing from this diversity, Six Senses Zil Payson offers traditional favourites along with a little interpretation of island cuisine by their adventurous chefs. Island Café, the all-day dining eatery, is inspired by flavours from the spice route, offering a melting pot of European, Asian and African fare. Fruit, pastries and made-to-order eggs for breakfast give way to drinks and snacks served throughout the day in an open lounge. Chef’s Kitchen offers a private dining experience where your private Chef prepares a tailor-made menu with your favourite ingredients for lunch or dinner. Ocean Kitchen presents seafood dishes inspired by the local creole cuisine and celebrates the aquatic surroundings. Dishes are created with the fresh fish from local fishermen who are committed to sustainable fishing. The restaurant is open for lunch daily and dinner on certain days of the week.
  • Spa:
Six Senses Spa Zil Payson features five double treatment villas (Rock, Cave, Ocean, Nature and Floating) that reflect the island’s eco-system, colours, textures and themes.
