OUR Journey

Maryanne, founder and CEO of The Peaks, has been working in the travel and wellness industry for over nine years, both as a PR specialist and freelance writer. The Peaks was born from a desire to introduce the Middle East market to the world’s best boutique, bespoke and beautiful hotels and villas, offering members a doorway into new luxury and personalised travel without the hefty price tags.

And then two kids came along…

A mum to a toddler and newborn, Maryanne still has a burning desire to explore the world…except that looks a bit different these days. Alongside the success of her expat parenting podcast Mother Tongue, The Peaks has transformed into a go-to source for all things family travel.

Maryanne is also the founder of communications consultancy, The Comms Club, an agency of boundary pushing innovators and content creators who strive to do things differently. Specialising in travel, food and wellness, The Comms Club serves as advisors, ambassadors and brand strategists, generating meaningful dialogue and identifying unique partnerships on the brand’s behalf. Having started a business at a young age, Maryanne’s entrepreneurial acumen has led her to the creation of The Peaks, a company she believes will grow from the Middle East to take on a wider international market.
