Accommodation:
The Aditya comprises of 16 bespoke villas, suites and rooms which expertly utilise the space and positioning of the abode for maximum comfort and luxury. For instance, there is a lap pool in one of the lower floor suites and a Jacuzzi on those with an upper deck, they all provide breath-taking views of the Indian Ocean from balconies and verandas. Each villa and open public space echoes understated elegance in its marriage of Balinese and Sri Lankan antiques, detailed with cultural hallmarks espousing the arts and craft of the southern area of this tropical island. The Villa is a combination of a pool suite and a sky suite. Each suite is laid out to impress with authentic art and antiques drawn from Sri Lanka and the region.

Aditya sits on one of Sri Lanka’s most secluded beaches in the southern area of Rathgama. The historic fort city of Galle, the enchanting Madu River (30km away) and the hip surf and coral gardens of Hikkaduwa are just a short drive away.
• Getting there:
Aditya Hotel is a 25-minute drive from Galle Fort and a 2-hour 15 minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Guests who drive can enjoy free on-site parking.
• What to pack:
Stylish, loose fitted clothes are best for humid climates, lots of swimwear and don’t forget suitable shoes for exploring the town.
• Restaurants:
At Aditya, meals are full length concert performances for your taste buds conducted by a team that revel in creating gastronomic symphonies at your behest, any time of day or night. Enjoy the best seats in the house as you indulge in a full gourmet performance, anytime and anywhere you wish. The on-site restaurant serves international dishes and fresh seafood at all times of the day. Private dining by the beach or in the garden can be arranged.

• Signature Activities:
Aditya offer a guided tour to the local fish market to select fresh seafood along with a familiarization session of ingredients, spices, condiments and methods used in Sri Lankan cooking. The experience includes preparation of fish curry and shrimp curry along with preparation of rice, lentil curry, vegetable curries and sambol which is then served to the table to enjoy a typical Sri Lankan lunch. For a truly memorable experience, you can visit the nearby turtle hatchery. There you can watch hundreds of turtle hatchlings as they scamper across the sands to meet their watery destiny. Visit them between November to March and they’ll set you up for a high seas adventure where you’ll get up close and personal with majestic whales and playful dolphins.
