The Samata has 10 suites and Balinese style villas with private pools. Our favourite suites are the 1-bedroom Spa Suites which are each connected to a private couples treatment room which you can access directly for your 1-hour daily free massage. The suites are 50sqm and have relaxing views over the gardens and the Energy Pool.

Located in Sanur, a coastal stretch of beach east of Denpasar in southeast Bali which has grown into a little town in its own right.
Getting there:
The Samata is 30 minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. If you would like an airport pickup this can be arranged for an extra charge prior to your arrival.
What to pack:
Typical tropical holiday packing! Think summer clothes, hats, sunglasses, beach bags, swimsuits / beach cover-ups, evening dress and sundresses, sandals.
Restaurants:
Zenso Restaurant specialises in healthy dining with international and Indonesian inspired dishes as well as vegetarian and gluten free options available. If you want to have a more private dining experience, The Samata will also provide gorgeous in-room dining setups.
Spa:
The Spa has 3 treatment rooms and expert therapists offering with a wide selection of treatments influenced by traditional Balinese culture and traditions and using natural products. They also have a tranquil yoga and meditation room.
Signature Activities:
Fitness for all: No other resort on Bali has the health and fitness facilities found at The Samata Sanur. They offer a wide variety of exercise options and equipment. You can start in their fully equipped gym, on the tennis court or in one of the 3 pools (Chill, Lap and Energy). Or go all out with a high-intensity workout, including a session in a bootcamp or in their very own boxing ring. The resort regularly invites sports and fitness professionals to share their knowledge and experience. They can also organise fitness activities outside the resort including, water sports at Sanur, kite surfing and more.
On a rest day they also offer a stunning Sunrise Walk along the local beach, exotic Balinese cooking classes (including kids’ classes) and romantic Starlight Dining overlooking the surrounding rice fields.
The high season in Sanur runs from April to November however the weather is good enough to swim in the sea all year round
